Infant and Developmental Eye Tracking

Researchers use the gaze patterns of infants and children to gain insights into the development of cognitive, perceptual, social and linguistic processes. Whilst early research generally used video cameras, and painstaking manual coding to determine where infants and children were looking, in more recent years eye tracking has become a dominant technique, providing far better spatial and temporal accuracy, and allowing gaze to provide even more exciting new insights into the developing mind.

    • LCD Arm Mount: For infant research, the EyeLink 1000 Plus Arm Mount allows the infant to be positioned comfortably on a parents lap or in a car seat / high chair, and the screen and eye tracker adjusted to suit them.
